New App Update: RTL-SDR V4 and HackRF Support!

Long Awaited and Finally Released – RTL-SDR V4 Support!
Today the new Release 1.5.1 of STARWAVES DRM SoftRadio App has been released. The following improvements can be expected:
– Added audio output device selector in settings (cog wheel icon) / audio tab,
starting with Android 12:
default, Earpiece, Speaker, Headphones, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB
– Added support for “RTL-SDR Blog V4” Receiver Dongle (all bands)
– Added support for “HackRF” Receiver Dongle (all bands)
– Improved robustness after signal loss or reconfiguration
– Improved sync status display in tuning dialog
– Unknown image formats no longer opened in external web browser window
– Updated decoder modules
Hello Starwaves DRM-Team,
since a standalone DRM Receiver (“truckbox”) seems no longer available, I have a question on the new dongle: Can it be connected to an older Sony Vaio Laptop to produce an audio in the new AAC-XE mode?
My old DREAM software in connection with the DRM output from my venerable AOR 7030 conected to the microphone-in connector on that laptop PC does no longer decode the new DRM standard.
Soon our Android App will also support those Soundcard Hardwares. Keep watching this website for announcements!
1.5.1 is broken..the main window automatically closes…
From Amazon? It was now updated, please install the update then it should work!
Hello,
Is the RTL-SDR V4 Support available in France and where can it be purchased ?
Is it possible to plug it in portable computers using Windows?
What kind of antenna is required to gain good reception ?
Waiting for your answer and sending to you my best regards.
